Helvetica is the most used font today. Every street corner you turn, chances are you are going to see helvetica. Helvetica was made in the post war era in the year 1957. The designer of the font, Eduard Hoffmann, worked for Hass Type Foundry, and was helped by Max Miedinger. The font was invented to try and push the era into a more modern society and symbolize that the war era was over. This is my personal favorite font, and most likely always will be, because of how modern it is.
